The Wildcard Reserves is where every Wildcard member starts at. And is intended to a be stepping stone for those that wish to be on a ALPHA, BRAVO or CHARLIE team.
Unit Description: The Wildcard Reserves functions as a support team for Bravo and Alpha teams, in most cases Reserve members will be asked to fill out a Bravo Squad. The Reserves in addition to being a back up / support squad in the field, will also be the primary individuals assisting with logistical needs in the field.
The Reserves will still fully participate on team training days, may attend national level events with the team, and will have limited support from the team sponsors. They recieve the same basic training that the other teams and are expected to rise the qualifications of those teams if asked to support them.
The Reserve team is a place for players to start building their kit, their skills and determine if they really want to advance and become more involved in the team. It is also a place for existing Alpha and Bravo members to go if they no longer meet the requirements of their perspective designation.
Unit Requirements: Minimum of 14 years of age Attend and Pass Wildcard Basic Training Have the team uniform (Pants, Jacket and hat)* - Specific uniform pattern will be disseminated prior to Basic Training Not be a member of another team Meet the Minimum Reserve PT requirements (15 Push ups and 20 sit ups)
What to expect Reserve members are allowed to attend national level op, and in most cases will fill the slots available on bravo teams. However note that attending an operation for members under that age of 16 triggers the team due requirements.
Reserve members will receive limited discounts from our sponsors.
With all of this said, the Reserve/Bravo team is not set up to be the red headed step child. The mission of the unit is different but also important. While Alpha and Bravo team members will be working with you they are to in mentoring position and treat you with respect. It shouldn't have to be said but, it does. The whole goal for all of us to have fun at Milsim events and actually enjoy each others company.
