Team Wildcards Forum

The 303rd Wildcards is roughly based on a US Army Special Forces or "green beret" unit. The main force behind the unit the Alpha teams / ODA, which is the case for the 303rd Wildcards.

Unit Description:
Wildcard Alpha teams are the tier one members of the 303rd Wildcards and function as a squad at National level events. Becoming an Alpha team member takes time, dedication and commitment but the rewards are well worth it. The Alpha team can function in many different roles, while most of it is Direct Action missions, the Alpha team may also fulfill Recon, Combat Search and Rescue, VIP Escort or similar missions as well (hence the name Wildcards).

Alpha team members may also be tasked with organizing small groups of players (either small teams or individuals) into a more effective fighting force, as we have done on several occasions.

Unit Requirements:
Minimum of 16 years of age, however 18 years of age is what we are looking for. (you have to be mature and respectful, and a really good fit if you want to get on under 18)
Currently lives in Colorado
Attend training or events twice a month
Have your own transportation
Meet the Minimum Alpha Team PT requirements:
-30 Push ups in 2:00 min
- 40 Sit ups in 2:00 min
Meet the minimum Gear requirements:
- M16 / M4 Mag based Primary Airsoft Weapon System
- 10 Mid cap mags for primary Airsoft weapon system
- LBV / Vest / Plate Carrier to carry Gear (Either OD Green, Green Base with tan pouches or Tan base with Green pouches)
- Water / Hydration Device
- Watch
- Compass
- GMRS Radio with earbud
Complete proper uniform (ATAC's and Woodland)
Able to commit to purchasing team / event specific equipment

Once member meet these requirements they may be invited to attend the Wildcard Selection and Qualification course. Upon completion of this course, attending an Operation and pass the existing member vote, they are added to an Alpha team.


What to expect:
Priority operation slots will given to Alpha team members on a first right of refusal basis. Alpha team members are expected to assist and mentor reserve members.
Alpha team members receive the full benefits from team sponsors.

Alpha team member no longer meeting the Alpha team requirement are given a one month grace period to correct the issue. If the issue is not resolved then they are moved to the Reserves, and given one opportunity to pass an personal evaluation to become an Alpha team member again without re-attending Selection.
